    Monty has 28 years of experience working with teenagers, singles, couples and families. He has years of experience working with topics such as: depression, suicide, self harm, addictions and duel diagnosis (people who suffer with a mental health issue and an addiction).

    Monty’s theoretical approach to counseling is eclectic with an emphasis in attachment theory.  He has training in Bowen Family Systems, Cognitive/Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, IMAGO Relationship Therapy and Attachment Therapy.

    As a certified Life Coach, he coaches couples to use effective, healthy communication skills to communicate with one another.

    Monty’s love for people and compassionate, caring, nonjudgmental approach helps people feel safe and aids in the healing therapeutic relationship.

    He is transparent and authentic as he seeks to relate and empathize with others. He seeks to practice what he teaches and to live life wholeheartedly.
